The Brand
Ashiq Foods has grown, milled and processed basmati rice in Hafizabad, Punjab since 1990 — the region growers call the City of Rice, for soil and climate that no other basmati-growing area can match. We farm 1,540 acres of our own land, run a hi-tech milling facility, and control every stage from seed to pack. Four generations of expertise sit behind every bag. We don’t buy rice in and put our name on it — we grow it.
The Product
Ashiq Basmati Rice is Super Basmati 1121 — the longest grain in basmati, aged two years to develop its full aroma and a texture that stays light and separate after cooking. Every pack is 97–98% pure long grain: silky, consistent, and free of foreign bodies or off-flavours. Certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, HACCP, Halal and Kosher, and tested to EU standard through Eurofins.
